I will place a bid for the move and we will take it from there but we need to get our skates on. Roger ![]()
expcourier wrote on 03/09 at 11:42 AM
No problem the total cost of the move with the storage costs is £2400. We need to speak urgently as I have details that you need to set up the T1. Regards Roger ![]()
muze (0) wrote on 30/08 at 12:06 PM
I will accept the bid if the payload of up to 2800-3000 kg is not a problem, and provided there is an option somehow to deliver in 4-5 days, rather than in 24hrs. Please let me know if that is ok or not, and whether a pickup date between Monday Sep6 and Sep 13th is possible. ![]()
expcourier wrote on 26/08 at 10:56 PM
No its a basic T1 nothing to worry about but as swiss is not in the eu its the only way to bring items back to the UK without probelms. Roger ![]()
muze (0) wrote on 26/08 at 9:56 PM
Ok, I thought we only needed C3. I will investigate too. I do already have the UK commodity codes, guess that is something. ![]()
expcourier wrote on 26/08 at 9:51 PM
T1 is not a vehicle but is a document that must be raised at Swiss customs office and completed by customs in the UK for any shipment from swiss to UK. You need to take advice from a customs officer who will tell you who has raise this. We are in swiss over the weekend and will make enquiries for you, we are in bremgarten for a removal. Roger ![]()
muze (0) wrote on 26/08 at 9:42 PM
I am not sure I understand, what is a T1 vehicle? (Cannot find any in google). Do you mean, can I provide a vehicle to the UK, or you mean locally? With the Swiss end, do you mean your company has a Swiss end? How do I contact them? (If you are talking about Swiss customs and exporting rocks, that is no problem at all). ![]()
expcourier wrote on 26/08 at 9:38 PM
Hi - Can you organise the T1 that includes the rock samples and you need to take advice from the swiss end regarding this move. Roger ![]()
muze (0) wrote on 26/08 at 2:11 PM
Questions:n- Are there costs not included in this bid? If so, could you list which, and price?n- Payload for these 15m3 would be close to 3000kg because of scientific rock samples. Would that be a problem (customs wise it is ok, I checked very carefully)?n- on dates: What pickup date could you do between and including Sep 6th and Sep9th? Is storage an option, as we can't make it in 24hrs, will need 3-4 days?nnPS. Since this site takes a fee, I need to know the answers I am afraid before paying the deposit. thanks ![]() |

Hi Roger, I am sorry but I had to decide during the past few days (before this morning), so because I was not sure about the payload during this time, I had to go with someone else as time was so short. I will delete the listing tonight, hope you still see this beforehand. ![]() |

Is this bid for 12 cubic meters? That is what I made the new listing at. I am not sure what box sizes Shiply uses, but the volume is 12 m3 or less, that is what any quote should be based on, not my nr of boxes which is an artificial nr. Also, we can provide a large van ourselves for transhipping. Please also note that your bid for 12m3 is now more than my other bids for 25m3 were. ![]() |

Ok, I checked, the garbage truck that fits our pickup street was over 10m long and weighs 12.5 tons when empty. A question, can you confirm this is a part load, or dedicated delivery? When would you envisage pickup (if a part load?) if we say it could between Sep 3 and Sep 13th? How long roughly for delivery in Devon (in days?).nnWhat is included in this quote, is it packing materials, partial packing, loading and unloading, or also unpacking and removal of debris? If not, how much is the latter option?nAnd is the insurance for just loss, or also loss and damage etc? I guess the rules mean I cannot phone you until later in the process, correct? Thanks,nBridget ![]()

The volume of your consignment is 25 cum. A Light goods vehicle / LWB jumbo luton van is a 3.5 ton gross vehicle weight van that carries a maximum of 15 cum with large body fitted or 8.6 cum if standard body with high roof and a 1.25 Ton pay load (less if tail lift fitted). The average weight of house hold furniture and effects is 250 cuft = 1 Ton., We have bid to carry out this move on a 18 ton GVW pantechnican with air ride suspension designed and built to carry out removals. ![]()

We operate 2/3 lorries to mainland Europe every week and have storage facilities in France and UK. We also only carry out household furniture removals and operate to very high standards which are detailed in "Additional Information" opposite in our bid details. If you click on our name you will see full details of our company and scroll down and you will see our feed back from other Shiply customers we have relocated. If you accept our bid there is a deposit to be paid before we are allowed to exchange details. After you have paid the deposit and if you do not consider us capable of carrying out your removal after viewing our web site and discussed your move with our staff WE WILL REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT. I am that confident you will like the service we offer. Regards NEIL ![]() |

Hi Bridget. Thank you for your email. This is a dedicated delivery. It would collect in 6-8 hours and conveyed to Devon in approx 24 hours. This quote covers all packing, loading and unloading into the new rooms. Insurance policy is for loss and damage, after accepting my bid you will have my contact details. But more importantly I will give you details of clients that we have move abroad for there referance's. It will impress you I am sure. Yes 25 cubic meters will fit into our lorry. If you are satified can we proceed as there are logistical arrangements to make for you. regards roger ![]()

Hi - I am a very sensible perosn and will adhere to any adjustments in the inventory. Dont worry about that. We have professional clients in france and germany that will give you a very detailed account of our customer service level. I dont want to broadcast them for obvious reasons but you will be pleasantly surprised. Regards Roger. ps those dates are fine. ![]()
muze (0) wrote on 09/08 at 10:43 AM
Dates would be between Sep 2 and 14th. Could you adjust the quote (if needed) based on 25 m3, as the inventory is a much less accurate way in this case (see other reply at bottom of the page). Also, the street in Switzerland fits a 2.5m wide truck but probably not longer than 5-6 meters. There is space for a larger truck 300meters away but then a van is likely needed to get there. ![]()

Hi 7.5 ton removal lorry. 3 porters, bubble wrapped goods in transit, referances avilable for our protocol. Any dates in mind may bring a discount. Regards Roger ![]() |

Question:
Hi There have you any idea of dates when you require this removal carried out? Also are you sure you have completed the inventory correctly you have put 99 large boxes? Please click on our name for full details of our company we operate 2-3 vehicles as pictured carrying out furniture removals to mainland Europe every week Regards NEIL -
(9/8 at 4:10 AM)

Response:
Between September 2nd and 14th. Please base the quote on 25 m3, not the inventory. Basically, the inventory is not a good method for me to indicate total volume as an office with boxed items is also included in the move and the few items of large (but flat packable, except a sofa) furniture we might leave behind, depending on the quotes. -
(9/8 at 10:38 AM)

Response:
Hi There I will base our bid on 25 cum 0f furniture and effects also including customs clearance. We operate a 18 ton vehicle to Switzerland most weeks and it is 2.5 m wide and 10 meters in length. After reading your other post regarding access if a tranship vehicle is required the most cost effective way is for you to hire locally and we will not charged for transhipping if you can supply the small vehicle any more questions please email Regards NEIL -
